31 weeks and an ultrasound

It is hard to believe but we only have 9 weeks to go until baby Tharan's arrival! Today we had an ultrasound and some photos are below. Once again we stayed strong and resisted the temptation to find out the sex...sorry for those of you dying to know! The baby does weigh 3.13 lbs and is in the average size range...not too small, not too big! Photos were very difficult because the baby was on the MOVE. The hands were constantly fluttering in front of the face and into the mouth. I think the baby is favoring the left hand... just might be a lefty like mommy! At one point, in the 4th picture, the foot flew in front of the face. Our little one was being an acrobat the entire time and even had the tech impressed with the movement. Dr. Federoff promises there is no such thing as too much movement. I might have to disagree because there are days such as today where our little one NEVER holds still. I can honestly say there hasn't been more than 20 minutes without a ton of twists and turns! Our next appointment is only three short weeks away!

Baby's profile!

Cute baby face with eyes wide open!!

Looking all around!

High kick in front of face....wow!

7 months- 28 weeks

Baby Tharan is now in the 7th month about 28-29 weeks! There are very few moments where I don't feel TONS of movement. I don't really think that our little one likes to sleep. After talking with both of our moms this sounds very similar to how we behaved. We may have a gymnast, cheerleader, or simply a very active child like Kevin :) I feel great and truly look pregnant (huge)! March 16th is our next appointment and we get to have an ULTRASOUND...yippee!! Things are moving along but we are still so anxious to meet our baby. May just can't get here soon enough!!

Oliver defintely knows that something is different. I sure hope he will be a nice dog. He doesn't seem to have mean bone in his body, but boy is he spoiled and BIG. Sharing mom and dad is going to be hard on Ollie. Anyone with tips on getting a baby dog to accept the new baby send them our way! :)

Here's the house!

The roof is just about complete! The back is finished but the front still needs the doomers and porch roof. This weekend Kevin, Kirk, and dad worked on digging out the foundation that has fallen in and working on the french drains that surround the house.

Very muddy!!!
