9 month appointment

Today Gavin had his 9month check up. He weighed 20lb 2.5 oz (50%) and was 30 1/8 inches tall (95%). He was a very good patient though he didn't want anyone looking in his ears or listening to his heartbeat. If he could have only figured out how to get ther stethoscope away from the nurse. Gavin smiled and flirted with each person he met. He was not at all impressed with the finger poke to check his iron levels. In fact he cried worse of it than the 4 shots he got the last time. But when he realized he had a band aid on his finger all was forgiven. That band aid made his day! I am so glad we chose Hope Pediatrics. Dr. Bishop answers all my questions even the ones that might seem silly to her. She gave some tips on sleeping, changing a busy boy's diaper without losing my mind, and tips on foods Gavin can now eat. Our next scheduled appointment is at 12 months...12 months I cannot believe that very soon Gavin will be 1 year old. What an amazing time I am having watching my baby boy grow and develop!

Finally posting pics from 8 months...now that Gavin is 9 months!

8 months old- I can stand and crawl!

I can also wave bye-bye!

This hat was placed on Gavin and IT STAYED ON! He really seems to enjoy wearing his baseball cap...sound like anyone you know? Umm his daddy!!!

Still hanging tight to that binkie

Funny green bean faces!

On the move!

One busy boy!

Peek I see you!

What a big boy!

Peas and carrots are delicious and tricky to hold on to!

Sometimes Gavin eats his food and sometimes he smashes it up!

Here are a few videos of Gavin's new milestones. He can now crawl and pull to stand. I just love watching him accomplish new things and be proud of himself. Time sure is flying by!

I did it...finally!

I finally have figured out how to upload video to our blog! Only took a ton of tries and the help of 2 savy tech ladies (Barb and Kami); thank ladies! Now I may actually start using the wonderful video camera that Kevin and I own. Look back for more videos on Gavin in the near future. Go me; I love technology!
